Parent-to-Parent Volunteer

Are you a parent who is willing to be a support to other parents struggling with their child’s addiction?  Other parents need non-judgmental support from someone who has gone through the same experience.  And they need someone to listen.

  • Time commitment is about 1 hour/week over the phone
  • All volunteers will be interviewed. Prior to the interview, please read “Beyond Addiction: How Science and Kindness Help People Change” by Jeffrey Foote, Carrie Wilkens, and Nicole Kosanke.
  • All volunteers will receive initial training (weekend) and ongoing training (½ day quarterly)

If you would like to volunteer, please contact us.
